Chief Detective is a digital marketing agency specializing in brand building and growth strategies — focused on creating tailored strategies to drive significant growth for their clients.

This is the story of building Chief Detective’s online presence from scratch, alongside Emily Hickey, the CEO and Co-Founder of Chief Detective.

The designs showcased in this portfolio are my past work. Some live websites/apps may have been updated with new designs by clients, which were not designed by me.

I was responsible for building Chief Detective’s online presence from scratch.

This included designing the logo, establishing social media branding, creating a blog for Marketing Mastermind Group to share industry insights, and designing a user-friendly website to showcase services and clients.

Building The User Journey

Wireframes were created for each page to ensure a clear, user-friendly structure.

The Home, About and Services pages focused on clean layouts for easy navigation, while the Clients and the Mastermind Blog pages highlighted clients and insights. The Contact page included a simple form for inquiries. These wireframes guided the final design.

With the wireframes, I started designing Chief Detective's website with a focus on creating a minimalist, user-friendly interface that effectively communicates the agency's services and keeps users engaged.

I crafted each page for seamless navigation and clear information presentation, aligning with the brand strategy.

A welcoming and informative landing page to introduce the agency's brand and key services, setting the tone for the user experience.

2. About

A dedicated page to highlight Chief Detective’s mission, expertise, and team, building trust and connection with potential clients.

3. Services

A clear and concise breakdown of the agency’s core offerings, showcasing their expertise in digital marketing strategies.

4. Clients

A portfolio page to feature successful client collaborations, showcasing the agency’s track record of delivering results.

5. Mastermind Blog

A platform to share industry insights, tips, and thought leadership, positioning Chief Detective as a knowledgeable authority in digital marketing.

6. Contact

A user-friendly page providing an easy way for potential clients to connect.

Outcome

Successfully established digital presence for Chief Detective. The minimalist design approach ensured a clean and professional look, while the content and interface enhanced user engagement.

In this project, I improved my skills in minimalist design, user engagement, and content strategy integration. I also learned about the importance of collaborating with stakeholders to align the final product with business goals.
